What PSI Is Safe for Pressure Washing Pavers?

For most pavers, keep the pressure around 1,500 PSI or lower and use a wide fan tip. High pressure strips the sand out of the joints and can etch the surface.

How to clean pavers safely

  • Use a wide fan tip and keep the wand moving.
  • Stay back from the surface. Do not hold the tip close.
  • Use a surface cleaner for even results.
  • Re-sand the joints after washing.
  • Seal the pavers to keep them clean longer.
